About

Times volatility around tech-driven extremes: goes long UVXY/VIXY when QQQ/TQQQ look overheated, buys leveraged rebound plays on deep dips, otherwise sits in T‑bills. Heavy tech and volatility exposure; very active and high risk.
NutHow it works
It watches a 0–100 “hot/cold” gauge (RSI) on big US stock/tech funds (QQQ, XLK, SPY, VOOG). If readings get very hot, it expects a pullback and buys volatility funds (UVXY/VIXY). If they get washed out, it plays for a rebound with leveraged funds (TECL/SPXL or short‑vol SVXY). Otherwise it parks in T‑bills/bonds (BIL/BSV). Most weight follows QQQ/TQQQ; smaller sleeves are more/less aggressive.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: annualized return ~32.6% vs S&P ~21.2%, drawdown ~18.4% (vs ~18.8%), Calmar ~1.77 and Sharpe ~1.27. Alpha ≈0.15%. Higher upside with controlled risk vs the S&P 500.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
