About

A tech‑tilted timing system that uses a short‑term “heat gauge”: too hot → buy VIX funds (UVXY/VIXY/VIXM); too cold → buy 3x bull tech/S&P or short‑vol (SVXY); otherwise park in T‑bills/bonds (BIL/BSV). Mix of aggressive and safer modules.
NutHow it works
It watches QQQ (Nasdaq‑100), XLK (tech), VOOG (S&P 500 growth) and SPY (S&P 500) with a short‑term 0–100 “heat gauge” (RSI). Very hot readings → buy volatility funds UVXY/VIXY (or tamer VIXM) that pop when fear rises. Very cold readings → buy rebound plays TECL/SPXL/TQQQ (3x bull funds) or SVXY (benefits when fear fades). Otherwise sit in BIL/BSV (cash‑like). Blends aggressive and safer sleeves.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: 32.3% annualized return vs 21.3% for the S&P, lower beta (0.76), Calmar 1.75, and positive alpha with ~18% max drawdown. A tech-forward, tactical approach offering bigger upside with controlled risk vs the S&P 500.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
