A daily tactical plan that flips among VTI (broad U.S. stocks), a hedge basket (VIXY + defensive ETFs), PSQ (short Nasdaq), or cash (BIL) using a simple heat gauge (RSI), sector checks, and a long‑term trend filter.

Rebalances daily. It measures market “heat” (RSI: a 0–100 hot/cold gauge). If very hot, it holds a hedge mix: VIXY (volatility) plus “Smooth Safety” (EUM = short EM, BTAL = anti‑beta), sized by how hot it is. If washed‑out, it buys VTI (total U.S. stocks). Otherwise a trend filter picks VTI, PSQ (short Nasdaq), or cash (BIL). SPY/QQQ/SOXX/etc. serve as signals only.

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
