If weak or overheated, it shifts to T‑Bills (BIL/SHV), Treasuries (TLT/IEF), gold (GLD/UGL), market‑neutral BTAL, and KMLM (a managed‑futures fund that follows trends in commodities/currencies/rates). It can hedge with VIX funds (UVXY/UVIX). Rebalanced daily.
