About
A rules-based, daily-rotating “all-weather” mix. It rides strong trends (often tech) when conditions are good, and shifts to cash/treasuries, gold, managed futures (KMLM), or hedges (BTAL, volatility/short ETFs) when risk rises. Uses some leveraged/volatility ETFs.
Each day it checks simple stats like recent gains, trend vs average price, how “hot” or “cold” things look, and choppiness.
It then picks from baskets: growth (tech/semis), safety (T‑Bills/treasuries), gold/commodities, diversifiers (KMLM/BTAL), or hedges (shorts/volatility).
It favors smoother options and spreads money across several modules.
Out-of-sample, this all-weather rotation-and-hedge strategy beats the S&P 500 on return (22.06% vs 21.20%), with negative beta for diversification and Calmar ~6.8. It blends trends, hedges and diversifiers to capture upside while dampening risk.
