This strategy checks the market every day and asks: is the overall U.S. stock market healthy or weak? If healthy, it usually buys the strongest fast-moving stock funds—mostly focused on big tech, semiconductors, and major U.S. indexes—and sometimes adds a bet that market fear will stay low. If weak, it first looks for a sharp selloff to buy a rebound. If no rebound setup appears, it shifts into safer holdings like long-term Treasury bonds, the U.S. dollar, consumer staples, low-volatility stocks, or even funds that rise when the Nasdaq falls.

Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers.
