About

Daily, rules‑based rotation. In uptrends it rides 3x tech/Nasdaq momentum and shorts volatility; when overheated it hedges with VIX funds. In downtrends it buys oversold dips or flips to short‑QQQ/defensives using short‑term trend and RSI. Very high risk.
NutHow it works
It first checks if the S&P 500 (SPY) is above its 200‑day average (an uptrend). If yes: it rides 3x tech/Nasdaq and broad US stocks, plus a small short‑volatility slice; if overheated, it briefly hedges with VIX funds. If no: it tries buying sharp dips in 3x tech/semis/S&P. If no dip, it rotates among QQQ, short‑QQQ, SPY, and defensives (Treasuries, US dollar, staples/low‑vol) using RSI (a 0–100 stretch gauge), 20‑day trend, and recent returns. Rebalances daily.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this strategy delivers stronger risk-adjusted performance than the S&P 500 (higher Sharpe and Calmar), with outsized upside from leveraged tech momentum and controlled risk via hedges and dip signals.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
