About

Daily, rules‑based rotation. In uptrends it rides TQQQ; if overheated, it hedges with UVXY. In downtrends it buys deep dips (TECL/UPRO), may short tech (SQQQ), or parks in bonds (BSV). RSI is a simple hot/cold gauge guiding those switches.
NutHow it works
Each day it checks if the S&P 500 (SPY) is above its 200‑day average (an “uptrend”). - Uptrend: mostly hold TQQQ (3x Nasdaq‑100). If things look overheated (RSI ≈80), briefly switch to UVXY (volatility; spikes when markets fall). - Downtrend: buy deep dips (TECL or UPRO) when very oversold (RSI ≈30), or hide in UVXY/bonds (BSV) when fear is high. Otherwise, it toggles between TQQQ and SQQQ (3x short Nasdaq) using short‑term averages and RSI. RSI = 0–100 “heat meter”; >80 hot, <30 washed‑out.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample: ~66% annualized return vs ~24% for the S&P, with Calmar ~1.32 and Sharpe ~1.14. Higher upside with disciplined hedging/rotation; drawdowns can be steeper (~50%), mitigated by active risk management.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
