About

Daily, rules‑based strategy that rides tech/semiconductor rallies with 3× ETFs (TQQQ, SOXL, TECL) when trends are healthy. When markets look overheated or weak, it shifts to volatility (UVXY), inverse funds (SQQQ/SOXS/TECS), T‑bills/bonds, and sometimes commodities. High risk.
NutHow it works
This is a rules‑based swing trader that checks if stocks look hot or cold (RSI: a 0–100 “speedometer,” high=overbought, low=oversold) and if the trend is up or down (moving averages). - Risk‑on: buy fast tech/semis (TQQQ=3× Nasdaq, SOXL=3× semis, TECL=3× tech; sometimes UPRO/SPXL). - Risk‑off/overheated: rotate to UVXY/VIXY (volatility), inverse ETFs (SQQQ/SOXS/TECS), or Treasuries/T‑bills (TMF/TMV/BIL). - Side picks can add commodities (PDBC/DBC/UCO) or country funds (EWZ/EPI). Rebalances daily; very aggressive.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this strategy targets ~72% annualized returns with Calmar ~1.86, vs S&P ~24% and ~1.29. Drawdowns can be ~39%, but dynamic risk-on/off hedging aims to protect capital and ride big tech uptrends.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
