About

Daily, it checks if the market is in an uptrend. In uptrends it buys recent dips across leveraged funds; if overheated it hides in volatility. In downtrends it flips among short NASDAQ, bonds, or volatility, with occasional dip-buys. Very high risk.
NutHow it works
Step 1: Trend check. If the S&P 500 is above its 200‑day average, it’s risk‑on; otherwise risk‑off. Risk‑on: If things look too hot (RSI>80 — a 0–100 “heat meter”), park in UVXY (a volatility fund). Otherwise buy two recent losers from a list of leveraged stock funds, bonds, and commodities, aiming for a bounce. Risk‑off: Rotate among SQQQ (3x short NASDAQ), short‑term bonds, or UVXY; sometimes buy sharp dips (e.g., TQQQ/TECL). Rebalances daily.

Out-of-sample edge: ~36.8% annualized returns vs SPY ~24.6%, aided by adaptive regime switching and diversified levered exposure to capture upside. Higher drawdowns (~49%) but potential for stronger long-run growth.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
