About

Aggressive, daily‑rebalanced mix: ~50% tactical bonds that can go long or short Treasuries, and ~50% equities via 3x index funds when trends are up. Uses trend/overbought‑oversold signals; parks in T‑bills when conditions are poor.
NutHow it works
Each day it splits money about 50% bonds, 50% stocks. It watches trend lines (moving averages) and a “speedometer” score (RSI) to decide when to press or hide. Bonds: it can bet for or against long‑term Treasuries (TMF/TMV), or sit in T‑bills (SHV/SHY) or plain bonds (TLT/IEF/BND). Stocks: it holds 3x index funds (TQQQ=Nasdaq, UPRO=S&P 500, URTY=Russell 2000, UDOW=Dow) when the market trend is up; otherwise mostly T‑bills—unless very washed‑out, then 3x Tech (TECL).
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample annualized return ~26.9% vs ~18.9% for the S&P, driven by trend/RSI rules and a flexible 50/50 bond/stock mix (long/short Treasuries and 3x equity ETFs). Higher upside with active risk controls; but larger drawdowns.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
