About

A 3x‑levered, rules‑based mix: half times long‑term Treasuries, half times US stocks. It follows trend and overbought/oversold signals to flip between aggressive 3x funds and cash‑like Treasuries, aiming for high returns with drawdown controls.
NutHow it works
50% trades US Treasury bonds; 50% trades US stocks via 3x ETFs. It checks trend (price vs long moving averages) and RSI (0–100 speed gauge; <~30 oversold, >~70 hot) to switch. Bonds rotate TMF (3x long), TMV (3x short), or safer SHV/BND/TLT/IEF/SHY. Stocks hold TQQQ/UPRO when SPY > 200‑day average; else SHV, with TECL on rare deep dips. Also small fixed URTY/UDOW stakes. Rebalances only on small drifts.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: ~31.3% annualized return vs SPY ~23.5%, via a disciplined 3x levered bond/equity mix with trend/RSI risk controls. Calmar ~1; max drawdown ~31% (vs ~19% SPY)—higher upside for risk-tolerant investors.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
