A contrarian, event‑driven plan: hold cash most of the time, but jump into volatility ETFs (UVXY/VIXM) when the market looks overextended or after sharp snap‑backs, aiming to catch short bursts of fear.

It mostly sits in T‑bills (cash). It watches a simple “heat” gauge (RSI: a 0–100 score of how fast prices have been rising; ~80 = very hot) across many market slices (tech, growth/value, communications, staples, discretionary, financials, and 3× funds). If any look very hot—or SPY has an 8–9‑day win streak—it buys UVXY (or milder VIXM), funds that jump when fear spikes. After a sharp 6‑day drop then big 1‑day rebound in TQQQ, it also buys UVXY. Otherwise it stays in cash.
