About

Daily, rules-based, tech‑tilted strategy that parks in T‑bills by default and only takes short tactical trades in 3x Tech/Semis or 3x Treasuries when conditions align. It avoids buying spikes, buys some dips, and uses volatility to time risk. High risk.
NutHow it works
Tickers: BIL=T‑bills; TECL=3x tech; SOXL=3x semis; TMF=3x long Treas.; TECS=3x inverse tech; TMV=3x inverse Treas.; SVXY=short vol; VIXY=long vol; UGL=2x gold. Default: BIL. When tech leads, fear is easing, and the market is in an up‑trend, it briefly buys TECL/SOXL or TMF. Sharp daily “pops” or overheated readings → back to BIL. Very oversold → short bounce. Rising fear → TECS/TMV or cash; fading fear → sometimes SVXY. Uses 3x ETFs; high risk.
CheckmarkValue prop
High-growth potential with risk controls: OOS annualized return ~29.6% vs SPY ~22.5%, aided by cash-first stance, volatility timing, and selective tech exposure. Higher upside with disciplined risk checks—though drawdowns can be larger in stressed markets.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
