About

A daily risk-on/risk-off timer. It sits in cash-like T‑bills (BIL) most of the time, but when markets are calm, trending up, and tech leads, it rotates into a 3× tech ETF (TECL). It avoids chasing big spikes and may buy dips if fear is contained. K‑1‑free ETFs only.
NutHow it works
Most of the time it parks in BIL (1–3 month T‑bills). When fear is low, tech is leading, and the Nasdaq is above trend, it jumps into TECL (a 3× tech ETF). It stands aside after big one‑day spikes or if things look overheated. After sharp drops, it may buy a short‑term bounce if stress is contained; otherwise it stays in BIL. Rebalanced daily. Tickers used: BIL=T‑bills; TECL=3× Tech; UPRO=3× S&P 500; TMF/TMV=3× long/short Treasuries.
CheckmarkValue prop
Adaptive risk-on/risk-off strategy that mostly stays in cash and only tilts to 3x tech when leadership is clear. Out-of-sample annualized return ~28.8% vs SPY ~22.6%, with stronger upside in calm markets; note drawdowns can be larger in downturns.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
