A daily trading strategy that uses SPY as its signal. It switches among leveraged stock funds, bearish funds, gold, or Treasury bills depending on short-term market trend, momentum, and rebound conditions.
NutHow it works
Each day, the strategy looks at SPY, a fund that tracks the S&P 500, as its market “weather report.” If SPY looks weak, it may either: buy a bearish fund that rises when stocks fall, buy a leveraged bullish fund for a rebound, or sit in short-term Treasury bills (BIL). If SPY looks strong, it may buy one leveraged bullish fund—or sometimes leveraged gold. It usually holds just one position at a time.
