About

A daily rules‑based Nasdaq strategy: ride uptrends with leveraged longs (QLD/TQQQ), buy dips, and fade overheated moves with inverse/volatility ETFs (SQQQ/UVXY). In downtrends it rotates to UVXY, SQQQ, or short‑term bonds (BSV). Very high risk.
NutHow it works
Daily it holds one fund. Trend gate: SPY above its 200‑day avg = risk‑on; else risk‑off. Risk‑on: ride Nasdaq—QLD by default; TQQQ on dips (RSI<~31); switch to SQQQ or UVXY when overheated (RSI>~80) or after sharp drops. Risk‑off: hold UVXY or SQQQ when fear is high; else sit in bonds (BSV). RSI is a hot/cold score 0–100. Tickers: TQQQ/QLD=3x/2x Nasdaq; SQQQ=3x short Nasdaq; UVXY=fear; BSV=bonds.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: ~66% annualized vs ~23% for the S&P, with Calmar ~1.71. Nasdaq-levered core with tactical hedges aims for strong compounding; risk-off rules limit downside, though drawdowns can exceed SPY.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
