About

A daily-rebalanced, high-risk strategy that seeks long Nasdaq exposure via levered ETFs (chiefly TQQQ) but uses momentum, trend, and dip-catcher rules plus hedges (UVXY, SQQQ) and safe assets (BSV) to contain drawdown. Heavily tech-focused with aggressive leverage.
NutHow it works
On each day, the model evaluates momentum (short-term RSI) and trend (200-day SPY) signals, then tilts between Nasdaq long bets (TQQQ, TECL, SPXL) and hedges (UVXY, SQQQ) or safety (BSV). It also runs a Nasdaq-dips module (using TQQQ, QQQ, SQQQ, QLD) to catch dips. A top-ranked asset is chosen from a small pool, and weights are adjusted toward cash/bonds when needed. Rebalance daily.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample: ~63.7% annualized return vs S&P 22.2%; Calmar ~1.64, Sharpe ~1.26. A Nasdaq/tech–heavy plan with hedges and daily rebalancing to pursue tech-led gains while managing risk.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
