About

A daily, rules-based rotation among leveraged growth ETFs, hedges (volatility), and defense assets to chase upside while managing risk through momentum and volatility signals.
NutHow it works
The strategy runs a daily set of tests on a large pool of ETFs. It ranks candidates by momentum/return and selects the top one in each group (risk-on bets like tech/semis and broad market, defensive hedges like UVXY/SQQQ, and defense assets like bonds/gold). Based on where the market stands (overbought/oversold signals and volatility conditions), it tilts into or out of positions, then rebalances back toward cash or hedges if conditions worsen. The net effect is a shifting mix that tries to chase upside but protect against drawdowns through volatility hedges and safe-haven assets.
CheckmarkValue prop
Invest in a daily, rules-based rotation that blends leveraged growth with hedges. Out-of-sample: ~50.7% annualized return vs ~21.5% for the S&P, with strong risk-adjusted metrics (Calmar ~0.98) and dynamic risk management.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
