About

An aggressive, rules-driven swing trader. It uses semiconductors, bonds, and commodities as “thermometers” to flip between 3x bullish tech/Nasdaq/S&P, defensive inverse ETFs, the U.S. dollar, oil, or Treasuries—and buys volatility when stocks look overheated.
NutHow it works
It rotates 100% into one fund at a time. First it checks if semiconductors are leading (they often lead booms). If stocks look too hot, it briefly buys market volatility. If too cold, it looks for a bounce but confirms with Treasuries. Otherwise it reads the backdrop—stock trend (bull/bear), commodities vs stocks (inflation), and the interest‑rate trend—to choose offense (3x tech/Nasdaq/S&P) or defense (inverse stock ETFs, strong USD, oil, or Treasuries). It also fades big short‑term bursts.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: ~33% annualized return vs ~25% for SPY, via rules-based rotation across leveraged growth and hedges guided by macro regimes. Higher upside but larger drawdowns—risk-managed for active investors.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
