About

A rules‑driven “risk switch” that parks in T‑Bills when conditions look risky or overheated, buys short bursts in leveraged tech/semis when markets are washed out, and otherwise rotates between stocks and long/short Treasuries based on trend and bond/dollar signals.
NutHow it works
It’s a switch. It checks if the market is too hot or too cold using simple gauges: RSI (a 0–100 “heat meter”), trend lines, and short‑term returns. - Too hot? Park in T‑Bills (BIL). - Very cold? Try a short bounce in leveraged tech/semis (TQQQ, TECL, SOXL) if bonds/dollar agree. - Otherwise, choose: ride stocks, or own TMF/TMV (long/short Treasuries), or sit in BIL.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample: ~23.3% annualized return vs SPY ~24.3%; Sharpe ~0.63 vs ~1.43; max drawdown ~63.7% vs ~18.8%. Edge: regime-switching that parks in T-bills in heat and uses leveraged tech or bonds to pursue upside while aiming to limit risk.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
