About

A rules-driven, dip-buying strategy. It buys the most beaten‑down high‑octane ETF (often tech/semis) after sharp selloffs, and hides in T‑bills when markets are hot or uncertain. It toggles TMF/TMV based on interest‑rate trends, with multiple safety tripwires.
NutHow it works
It’s a rule-based swing strategy. It checks if stocks are “stretched” up or down (RSI = a short‑term hot/cold score) and whether interest rates are rising or falling. • Washed out? Buy one fast‑moving fund (TQQQ/TECL/SOXL, etc.) for a rebound. • Too hot or signals disagree? Park in T‑bills (BIL). • Falling rates? It can hold TMF. Rising rates? Sometimes TMV. Crash/dollar-surge triggers shift to cash, market‑neutral (BTAL), or occasionally USD, Brazil/India, or gold.
CheckmarkValue prop
Disciplined, rules-based strategy that buys beaten-down tech ETFs and hedges with cash and rate moves. It adds diversification and a positive out-of-sample risk-adjusted edge versus SPY, especially in regime shifts.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
