A symphony is an automated trading strategy — Learn more about symphonies here

About

A fast, daily ETF switcher. It reads the stock, bond, and commodity backdrop, spots short‑term “too hot/too cold” moves, then goes all‑in on one pick: a 3x tech/semis/S&P bull, a 3x bear, a volatility bet, or a macro hedge. Extremely high risk.
NutHow it works
Each day the strategy asks three things: 1) What’s the backdrop? Are stocks trending up or down? Are long‑term Treasury bonds strong or weak? Are commodities unusually jumpy? 2) Are stocks “too hot” or “too cold” right now? 3) Based on those answers, it picks one fund: either a 3x tech/semis/S&P bull, a 3x bear, a bond bet (TMF/TMV), a volatility fund (UVXY/VIXY), or a macro hedge (USD/oil/gold). Then it rechecks and rotates the next day.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample return is on par with SPY (~23.8% vs 23.75%), using daily cross-asset rotations (volatility, bonds, commodities) for diversification and potential gains in volatile regimes—note higher drawdowns; suited for risk-tolerant investors.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
