About

A fast, daily swing strategy. Mostly rides and buys dips in leveraged semiconductors/tech; when markets get overheated or fragile, it switches to volatility ETFs or inverse funds, guided by quick “too hot/too cold” gauges and bond/commodity signals.
NutHow it works
It’s a daily rule-set that picks one ETF to hold. - If stocks look “too hot,” it buys fear (UVXY/VIXY) or flips short (SQQQ/SOXS/TECS). - If stocks look “too cold,” it buys the dip in semis/tech (SOXL/TECL/TQQQ). - It checks bonds (TLT up/down) to choose TMF (rates falling) or TMV (rates rising). - It uses simple heat gauges (RSI) and short 1–10 day trends.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: ~38.8% annualized return vs SPY's 22.6%, driven by rapid semis/tech rotations and volatility hedges. Higher upside, but also higher risk: max drawdown ~49% vs SPY's ~19%.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
