A symphony is an automated trading strategy — Learn more about symphonies here

About

A fast, daily strategy that mainly rides semiconductors/tech with 3x funds, then quickly hedges with volatility or inverse ETFs when markets look stretched or when rates shift. Very high risk; expect big swings.
NutHow it works
Daily, it checks simple gauges: trend (long vs short averages), speed/RSI (a “speedometer” of how fast price moved), and volatility. Default is to ride semiconductors (SOXL, a 3x chips fund). If stocks look overheated, it flips briefly to volatility (UVXY). If they look washed out, it buys tech (TQQQ/TECL) unless bonds hint rates are rising—then it uses inverse tech/semis (SQQQ/SOXS) or bond trades (TMF/TMV).
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample: ~47% annualized return vs ~22% for the S&P, with ~49% max drawdown and ~0.85 Sharpe. A rule-based, 3x-levered semis/tech strategy using rapid hedges aims for outsized upside while protecting on pullbacks.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
