About

A high-octane, semiconductor-first, daily strategy. It rides uptrends with 3x tech/chips (SOXL), but when things look too hot or too cold it quickly flips into VIX (UVXY) or -3x bear ETFs. Bond and commodity signals help choose offense or defense.
NutHow it works
Daily check the market’s “heat,” trend, and the bond backdrop. - If long-term trend is up: ride 3x chip/tech funds (mainly SOXL). If the S&P 500 looks too hot, briefly buy VIX (UVXY/VIXY). If it looks washed out, buy the dip (but only if bonds agree). - If trend breaks: flip to -3x bears or to bond trades (TMF/TMV). Uses quick momentum/mean‑reversion picks and bond/commodities checks to confirm risk-on/off.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample: ~69.6% annualized vs ~22% S&P; beta ~0.49; Calmar ~1.41. Strong risk-adjusted edge with hedges and lower market exposure. Higher upside, but larger drawdowns in downturns (≈49%).

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
