About

Daily, high-octane switching. Mostly rides 3x tech/semiconductor uptrends, but when markets look overheated or panicky it flips to volatility (UVXY) or 3x inverse. Bonds and commodities guide risk-on/off. Very aggressive and swingy.
NutHow it works
Each day it checks four things: stocks (RSI = 0–100 “heat” meter), bonds (TLT trend; BIL vs IEF), commodities (DBC), and fear (UVXY). If risk-on and not overheated, it rides fast tech/semis with 3x funds (SOXL, TQQQ, TECL). If overheated or dropping fast, it flips to UVXY or 3x inverse (SOXS, SQQQ). Big rate moves shift it to TMF/TMV. It holds one pick at 100%.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this strategy targets tech leadership with ~70% annualized returns vs SPY ~23%, plus a Calmar ~1.43 and positive alpha. Regime switching and volatility hedges aim for outsized upside, with higher drawdowns for risk-tolerant investors.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
