About

A daily, rules-based “risk thermostat” that rides strong uptrends (mainly leveraged tech/semis) and quickly flips to hedges or inverse funds when markets get too hot or weak, guided by stock/bond trends, short-term heat, and volatility.
NutHow it works
It’s a daily, rules-based “risk thermostat.” - First, it reads the backdrop: long‑term trends in stocks (SPY) and bonds (TLT). - Then it checks short‑term heat: a “hot/cold” gauge (RSI, 0–100), recent returns, and volatility. - If the coast looks clear, it rides the strongest areas—mainly leveraged tech/semis funds (like 3x Nasdaq/Tech/Semiconductors). - If markets look too hot, suddenly fall, or the backdrop turns shaky, it flips to hedges: volatility (UVXY/VIXY), inverse funds (that profit when stocks drop), or safer choices (Treasuries, US dollar, gold, oil). - Rebalanced daily; usually holds one pick.
CheckmarkValue prop
Dynamic, rules-based strategy that rides tech leaders and hedges risk. Out-of-sample returns ~58.7% annually vs S&P ~21%, with solid risk controls (Calmar ~1.20) despite occasional larger downturns in extreme markets.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
