About

A daily, rules-driven “all‑weather” trader. It rides strong tech/semis/S&P trends in bulls, buys volatility or inverse funds when markets look overheated or cracking, and pivots to bonds/commodities/FX hedges in inflation or rate shocks. Uses 3x ETFs; very risky.
NutHow it works
Daily, rule-based. RSI = 0–100 “heat” gauge (high=overbought, low=oversold). 1) Rate regime via TLT (long Treasuries). 2) Stock trend via SPY (S&P 500). 3) Extremes: if SPY too hot, buy vol (UVXY/VIXY); if washed out, choose bounce longs or bears using bond cues. 4) Otherwise ride recent leaders (3x TQQQ/TECL/SOXL/SPXL/UPRO) or defend when commodities (DBC) dominate with TMF/TMV, dollar/oil, or inverse ETFs (SQQQ/SOXS/SPXS). 5) Crash triggers (big SPY/TQQQ moves) flip to hedges. One ETF; rebalance daily. High risk.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample: ~54% annualized return, ~49% max drawdown, Calmar 1.10 vs SPY ~21%. Regime-switching, leader-driven bets with volatility hedges aim for higher growth than the S&P 500, with bigger but managed swings.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
