About
A daily, rules-based “all-weather” system that flips between leveraged tech bull ETFs, inverse bear ETFs, volatility (UVXY), Treasuries, and select commodity/currency plays using stock “heat,” bond trends, and fear spikes to adapt to bull or bear markets.
How it worksThree daily dials guide it:
- Stock heat: a “temperature” of recent moves. Hot = likely pullback; cold = bounce.
- Bonds/rates: trend in TLT (long Treasuries).
- Fear: VIX/UVXY spikes.
Hot stocks → buy volatility (UVXY/VIXY). Washed out → buy a rebound pick (often TQQQ/SOXL/TECL). Risk‑off → use bear funds (SQQQ/SOXS/SPXS) or bonds (TMF if rates fall, TMV if rise). Can also rotate to oil, gold, USD, or Brazil. Often chooses the recent 5–7 day laggard for a snap‑back. Many 3x ETFs; very high risk; frequent trades. Legend: TQQQ=3x Nasdaq‑100, SOXL=3x semis, UVXY=VIX/fear.
Value propOut-of-sample, this all-weather strategy posted ~58.7% annualized return vs S&P ~21.5%, with Calmar ~1.20, by dynamic regime-switching among leveraged tech, hedges, bonds and commodities. Higher drawdowns come with bigger upside.
