About

Calm markets: split between the most oversold and the top 1‑month winners among big US stock/tech funds. Turmoil: switch to 3x long/short long‑term Treasuries, or if bonds look steady, use a diversified mix including commodities, the US dollar, and staples.
NutHow it works
1) Check market stress using UVXY (a “fear” fund tied to volatility). • If calm (its 20‑day RSI, a gauge of how stretched buying/selling is, is below 70): put half in the most “oversold” fund from big US stock/tech choices, and half in the 2 best 1‑month performers. • If stressed: usually pick either 3x long or 3x inverse 20+yr Treasuries (TMF/TMV) based on which has fallen less over 5 days (max drawdown). If both bonds are calm, do the same split but include commodities, the US dollar, and defensive stocks.
CheckmarkValue prop
Regime-aware strategy blending momentum and mean-reversion with hedges to Treasuries/commodities. Potential upside well above the S&P 500 (≈47% vs ≈21% annualized), but with higher drawdowns—more upside and more volatility than the S&P 500.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
