About

Rules-driven all‑weather mix across commodities, gold, Treasuries, and US stocks. Buys assets in uptrends, parks in T‑Bills when weak, and in tech uses tactical hedges or 2× funds during surges/slumps to balance growth and protection.
NutHow it works
Split across 6 sleeves: DBC (broad commodities), GLD (gold), IEF (7–10y Treasuries), TLT/SHY/SHV (20+y/1–3y/T‑Bills), SPY (S&P 500) and QQQ/SMH/XLK (Nasdaq/semis/tech). It buys an asset only when price is above its recent average (trend). If weak, it moves to T‑Bills (SHV). A short‑term “heat” gauge (RSI) cuts risk when too hot and buys/hedges when too cold, sometimes using QLD (2× QQQ) or PSQ/QID (inverse). No fixed rebalance; rules trigger switches.
CheckmarkValue prop
Better risk-adjusted gains with far lower drawdown than SPY. Out-of-sample Calmar ~1.95, Sharpe ~1.76; return ~18.84% vs SPY ~22.88%, max drawdown ~9.65% vs ~18.76%. Diversified, rules-driven all-weather strategy.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
