About

Daily, trend-first strategy. When the S&P 500 uptrend is strong, hold the two strongest index ETFs (often leveraged). If only mildly positive, hold one lower-volatility index ETF. If weak, hold one defensive ETF. Special case: buy TQQQ if tech is very oversold.
NutHow it works
It checks if the U.S. stock market is trending up using two S&P 500 funds (SPY and VOO). If the long-term trend and recent gains look solid, it buys the two strongest index ETFs (often tech-heavy) and splits money 50/50. If only the short-term trend is up, it buys just one, picking the least bumpy. If things look weak, it moves to a single defensive ETF (bonds or defensive sectors). A special rule buys a tech fund (TQQQ) if tech is very oversold.
CheckmarkValue prop
Trend-first, out-of-sample-tested strategy that rides strong uptrends with selective leverage and protects capital in downturns with defensive shifts, aiming for higher risk-adjusted returns and lower drawdowns vs the S&P 500.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
