About

A daily, rules-based trend and momentum strategy. In uptrends it buys the 2 strongest Nasdaq/S&P ETFs (often leveraged). In downtrends it may play a tech rebound, otherwise shifts to the calmest growth fund or the most beaten-down defensive ETF.
NutHow it works
Every day: 1) If the S&P 500’s 50‑day average price is above its 200‑day average (uptrend), buy the 2 strongest by recent momentum (10‑day RSI) from TQQQ/QLD/SPXL/UPRO/QQQ. 2) Otherwise: if Nasdaq is very oversold (RSI<30), buy TQQQ; else if SPY > its 30‑day avg, buy the calmest of that group; else buy the most oversold defensive ETF (bonds/staples/health/utilities).
CheckmarkValue prop
Regime-based momentum with risk-on/risk-off rotation. Uptrends use leveraged tech exposure for amplified gains; downturns shift to defensives/bonds. Out-of-sample tests show stronger upside capture and smoother drawdowns vs. the S&P 500.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
