About

Daily trend‑based switcher: owns QQQ in healthy markets, hides in SHY when weak, and briefly uses TQQQ after sharp drops to catch rebounds. Aims to beat the market while cutting big drawdowns.
NutHow it works
Daily it checks market health using SPY. If SPY’s 21‑day average is above its 210‑day average, hold QQQ (Nasdaq‑100). If not: if QQQ is very oversold (10‑day RSI < 30), use TQQQ (3× QQQ) for a rebound; else if SPY is above its 31‑day average, hold QQQ; otherwise park in SHY (short‑term Treasuries). RSI gauges how stretched price is; <30 = unusually beaten‑down.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample annualized return: 38.7% vs SPY's 23.6%. Regime-driven: QQQ in uptrends, TQQQ on deep dips, SHY in weak markets. Higher upside with disciplined risk controls and a Calmar ~1.19.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
