An aggressive market-timing strategy that tries to buy sharp rebounds in tech and semiconductor funds, but frequently hides in short-term Treasury bills when markets look dangerous or overheated.

This strategy constantly asks: Is the market overheated, washed out, or healthy? It uses the S&P 500, bond market, interest-rate moves, the U.S. dollar, and commodities as warning lights. When stocks—especially tech and chip stocks—look beaten down but conditions seem safe, it makes an aggressive short-term bet using leveraged funds. When markets look risky or too hot, it often moves into BIL, a very short-term Treasury fund that acts like a cash parking spot.

Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
