About

Rules-based rotation that rides leveraged tech in uptrends, buys dips in selloffs, and shifts to hedges (inverse Nasdaq, volatility) or safe havens (Treasuries, dollar, gold) when markets overheat or weaken. RSI guides most choices.
NutHow it works
First decide regime: is the S&P 500 (SPY) above its 200‑day average? If yes, ride tech (TECL, SOXL) unless prices look “too hot” by RSI (a 0–100 hot/cold meter). When hot, add protection (SQQQ or UVXY). If no, buy tech only when deeply oversold; otherwise sit in Treasuries/bills (SHY/SHV/TLT) or sometimes the USD (UUP) or gold (UGL). A VIXen add‑on toggles volatility/bonds to trim drawdowns.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: ~51% annualized return vs SPY ~22%, Calmar ~1.40, and positive alpha, supported by regime-driven tech exposure plus hedges. Higher upside with disciplined risk control vs the S&P 500.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
