Rules‑based, aggressive swing strategy. Rides tech‑led uptrends, buys dips, and hedges when markets look overheated. Uses a long‑term trend filter (SPY 200‑day), a short‑term “heat” gauge (RSI), and a VIX overlay to cut drawdowns. Uses leveraged ETFs.

Step 1: Trend check. If SPY is above its 200‑day average, the plan is risk‑on; if not, risk‑off. Risk‑on: Own aggressive tech (TECL/SOXL/UPRO) unless RSI (a quick gauge of how stretched prices are) says it’s too hot; then use hedges (SQQQ/UVXY) until it cools. Risk‑off: Park in short Treasuries (SHY/SHV/STIP) and rotate into long bonds (TLT), gold (UGL), the US dollar (UUP), or cautious shorts when RSI shows dips. A small “VIXen” sleeve trades VIX funds to soften spikes.
