About

Daily, risk-on/risk-off swing strategy. Rides big-tech in uptrends, shifts to bonds/dollar/defensive or inverse funds when markets are hot or weak, and uses “buy the dip/sell the rip” rules after sharp moves. Uses leveraged ETFs; high risk.
NutHow it works
First it checks trend: is the S&P 500 above its 200‑day average (MA=past avg)? If yes, it plays offense; if not, defense. Offense: when things look “too hot” (RSI=hot/cold meter) it rotates to hedges (TMF/UUP/VIXY/XLP/SPLV). Otherwise it rides leveraged tech (TQQQ/SOXL/TECL), parking some in short Treasuries when momentum cools (SHY/SHV/STIP). Big pops/drops trigger “sell the rip” (hedge) or “buy the dip” (add tech). If trend weak, it may use bonds (TLT/TMV), dollar (UUP/UDN), gold (UGL) or inverse Nasdaq (SQQQ/QID). Rebalanced daily.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this levered risk-on/risk-off strategy targets far higher upside than the S&P 500 (≈69% annualized vs ≈21%). Calmar ~1.62, Sharpe ~1.23; trend hedges help manage risk. Bold, long‑horizon investors focused on upside.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
