About

A multi-layer, ARK-centered long/short system using RSI and momentum to buy ARK ETFs on dips and hedge on peaks, with volatility and treasury hedges and voting-style signal blending for risk control.
NutHow it works
A multi-layer system that goes long on ARK ETFs when momentum and value signals look favorable, and goes hedged or short when risk readings spike. It uses RSI and momentum checks on NASDAQ proxies to flag overbought (warning: potential pullback) or oversold (opportunity) regimes. In overbought regimes, it shifts toward hedges (volatility ETFs like UVXY/VIXY, inverse tech like SQQQ, and bond-related hedges). In oversold regimes, it favours ARK exposures (ARKK, ARKW, ARKG, ARQ, TARK, ARKX) and related 2x variants, while using risk filters (moving-average returns, standard deviation, and drawdown) to select the best few and size them. The inner layers (Plaid Inner Baller, See You Tmrw, The Voting Booth) act as control gates, blending signals and de-twitching decision-making so the portfolio isn’t driven by a single indicator. No permanent levered exposure unless signals strongly agree; weights are kept within tight corridors to manage drawdown risk. In short: it’s a momentum-driven ARK tilt with deliberate hedges and layered risk controls that switch between longing ARK ETFs and hedging with volatility and bonds as market conditions change.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: ~46.7% annualized return vs SPY’s ~21%, with a Calmar near 1.36 and built-in hedges to weather volatility. ARK-driven momentum offers bigger upside and meaningful diversification beyond the S&P 500.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
