A very aggressive short-term strategy that swings between bullish ARK bets, bearish ARK bets, tech shorts, volatility funds, and defensive assets based on whether risky growth stocks look strong, weak, overheated, or washed out.
NutHow it works
This strategy is a fast-moving trader focused on Cathie Wood’s ARK-style growth stocks. It first asks: is the market friendly or hostile to risky tech? It uses ARKK and bond/dollar signals as clues. If growth looks strong, it may buy TARK, a turbocharged bullish bet on ARK-style stocks. If growth looks weak or overheated, it may switch to SARK (which rises when ARKK falls), Nasdaq shorts, or fear funds like UVXY/VIXY. It also watches for very stretched moves—either too hot or too beaten down—and tries to trade short-term snap-backs.

Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
