About

A daily, rules-based tech market timer: short tech with SQQQ when QQQ looks overheated; go 3× long tech with TECL when it looks washed out; otherwise sit mostly in T‑Bills with a small defensive sleeve (UNH, COST, VIG). Uses leveraged ETFs.
NutHow it works
Daily, it reads QQQ (big‑tech index ETF) RSI, a 0–100 “heat” gauge of recent price moves. If very hot, it shorts tech (100% SQQQ, a 3× inverse of QQQ). If very cold, it goes 3× long tech (100% TECL). If just weak, it parks in T‑Bills (BIL). Otherwise it holds 80% BIL and 20% split across UNH (health), COST (retail), and VIG (dividend growers).
CheckmarkValue prop
RSI-driven tech-timing strategy with lower beta (~0.77) and a cash/defensive sleeve. OOS return ~16% with ~24% max drawdown; Calmar ~0.68, Sharpe ~0.67. Diversifies SPY with potential tech upside and risk control.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
