NutHow it works
This strategy makes short-term bets on China and emerging markets, often using high-octane funds that rise or fall about 3x as much as the market each day. It first looks for extreme moves in big Chinese stocks. After very sharp swings, it tries to catch a bounce or reversal. Otherwise, it checks whether the U.S. dollar is strong and whether China looks overheated or weak. It then chooses bullish or bearish China/emerging-market funds—or, in calmer periods, a plain emerging-markets fund.
