About

A tactical, high‑octane rotation. It rides leveraged stock ETFs in uptrends, buys deep dips, and hedges with T‑Bills, a small Nasdaq short, long bonds, the U.S. dollar, or volatility funds when markets overheat or break. High risk; fast‑moving.
NutHow it works
Switches between offense and defense. Offense: rides 3x stock ETFs (Nasdaq/S&P/Tech/Semis) or the strongest mega‑cap when trends are healthy. Defense: if markets are overheated it briefly buys UVXY (volatility). If selling is heavy, it buys the dip or parks in T‑Bills plus some SQQQ (short Nasdaq). When stocks stall, it favors long bonds (TMF) or the U.S. dollar (UUP). It gauges heat/cold (RSI), trend (25‑day avg), drawdowns, and volatility.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample annualized return ~76.8% vs SPY 19.6%, Sharpe ~1.35 vs 1.13, Calmar ~2.93. Dynamic offense/defense with hedges (bills, VIX, bonds) targets bigger upside while reducing downside risk vs the S&P 500.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
