About

Daily, it checks QQQ’s trend and “stretch.” It fades sharp pops (shorts QQQ), buys big dips with 3x tech funds, or parks in bonds/consumer‑staples—switching among TQQQ, TECL, PSQ, BND, TLT, and XLP based on recent strength.
NutHow it works
Each day it reads QQQ (a big tech-heavy index fund) to set the tone: above its 20‑day average = uptrend; otherwise not. • If QQQ jumped fast (>5.5% in 10 days), it briefly shorts QQQ (PSQ) to fade the pop. • If the 2‑month drop was big (TQQQ down >33%), it buys 3x QQQ (TQQQ). • If oversold (QQQ 10‑day RSI<30), it buys 3x tech (TECL). • Otherwise it hides in the stronger of bonds (BND/TLT) or consumer staples (XLP) by short‑term strength (RSI≈0–100 gauge: >50 stronger, <30 washed‑out).
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, the strategy targets higher annualized returns (~22.2% vs ~21.7% for S&P 500) with a solid risk-adjusted profile (Calmar ~0.87) and regime-based tech/defensive bets, offering more upside while using hedges to curb drawdowns.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
