About

Daily tactical system around the Nasdaq‑100: fade sharp 10‑day surges with an inverse ETF, buy 3x tech on deep/oversold dips, otherwise rotate into bonds or consumer staples based on simple trend/momentum checks.
NutHow it works
Tickers: QQQ=big tech; TQQQ/TECL=3x bullish tech; PSQ=short QQQ; BND=broad US bonds; TLT=long Treasuries; XLP=consumer staples. Indicators: moving average=20‑day avg price; RSI=0–100 ‘heat’ meter (<30 oversold, >50 firm); cumulative return=% move over X days. Daily: If QQQ is above its 20‑day avg, it fades 10‑day spikes with PSQ; else buys deep dips (TQQQ) or rotates to the stronger of bonds vs staples. If QQQ is below trend, it buys oversold tech (TECL), else the deep‑dip TQQQ rule, else picks long Treasuries vs PSQ (or bonds vs staples when strength is better). Note: uses 3x/inverse ETFs → high risk.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: 21.78% annualized return with 0.85 Calmar over 867 days. While drawdowns run higher than SPY, this strategy captures tech upside via 3x/Inverse ETFs and uses bonds/staples for risk control—an attractive SPY alternative.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
