About
Daily, it checks trend first. In uptrends it rides tech unless prices look too “hot,” then it hedges with inverse tech or volatility. In downtrends it buys big dips; otherwise it parks in bonds, the dollar, or gold—or shorts tech. RSI guides each choice.
1) Check if the S&P 500 (SPY) is above its 200‑day average (uptrend) or below (downtrend).
2) Uptrend: if Nasdaq looks overheated by RSI (0–100 gauge of how “hot/cold” price is), briefly hedge with inverse tech or volatility; else hold TQQQ (3x tech) or short‑term TIPS (STIP), picked by RSI.
3) Downtrend: buy deep dips in tech/S&P or sit in T‑bills (SHY). If no deep dip, rotate among tech (TQQQ), Treasuries (TLT), the U.S. dollar (UUP) or gold (UGL) vs short tech (SQQQ), using RSI.
Out-of-sample this strategy beats SPY on risk-adjusted return and growth: Sharpe 1.49 vs 1.30; Calmar 2.12; annualized return ~89% vs ~21%. Trend/RSI framework with dynamic hedges targets big upside while managing drawdown.
