About

Rules-based swing system using a long-term trend filter, a short-term “heat” gauge (RSI), and buy‑the‑dip/sell‑the‑rip logic. Rotates among leveraged tech, Treasuries, USD, gold, and volatility to grow while aiming to limit big drawdowns.
NutHow it works
1) Big switch: If the S&P 500 is above its long‑term trend, we play offense; if below, defense. 2) Offense: Own leveraged tech (TQQQ). If tech gets too “hot,” briefly hedge (short tech or volatility). RSI is a 0–100 “heat” gauge of recent buying vs selling. 3) Defense: After sharp drops, buy the dip in tech; otherwise favor Treasuries, a strong US dollar, or gold, and only short tech when those havens are weak.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: ~73.7% annualized return vs ~21.5% for the S&P, Calmar ~1.80, Sharpe ~1.27. Regime-switching, hedged leveraged-tech approach designed to outperform the S&P with disciplined drawdown control.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
