About

A rules‑based, tech‑tilted strategy: ride uptrends via 3× Nasdaq (TQQQ) until things look overheated, then hedge or shift defensive. In downtrends, buy sharp dips in tech; otherwise sit in Treasuries, cash‑like bonds, the US dollar or gold. Uses RSI as a heat gauge.
NutHow it works
1) Regime: if SPY sits above its 200‑day average, it’s an uptrend; otherwise a downtrend. Uptrend: mostly ride TQQQ (3× Nasdaq). If short‑term “heat” (RSI) runs high, hedge with SQQQ/UVXY or rotate to bonds/defensives. Downtrend: buy sharp tech dips (TQQQ/SOXL/TECL); if rallies get too fast, briefly hedge. If no edge, sit in Treasuries (TLT/SHY/STIP), USD (USDU) or gold (UGL). RSI ≈ 0–100 hot/cold gauge.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this strategy shows significantly higher upside with strong risk-adjusted metrics vs the S&P 500 (Sharpe ~1.35, Calmar ~2). Regime-driven hedges and tech-led tilts aim to capture gains while containing drawdowns.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
