About

A daily-rebalanced, all-weather ETF portfolio that uses trend and RSI rules to own commodities, gold, Treasuries, the dollar, staples, and a momentum-driven stock sleeve—moving to cash or hedges when conditions weaken.
NutHow it works
It splits money across sleeves: commodities (DBC), gold (GLD), Treasuries (IEF/TLT/SHY), U.S. stocks (SPY/QQQ), dollar (UUP), and consumer staples (XLP). Trend = short vs long moving averages; RSI = 0–100 of recent price speed. Each sleeve owns its ETF when trend is up; otherwise it parks in SHV (cash-like). The stock sleeve is more active: when SPY is healthy it holds SPY/QQQ (or SMH); when weak it keeps mostly SHV and may hedge (PSQ/QID = short QQQ) or use quick longs (QLD = 2x QQQ). Rebalanced daily.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this all-weather strategy beats the S&P on risk-adjusted performance: Sharpe ~2.0 vs 1.32, max drawdown ~8.7% vs ~18.8%, Calmar ~1.90, with lower volatility and durable upside.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
